Zebina Oil & Gas Limited is an indigenous (Proudly African) oil and gas company incorporated in 2014. The company, driven by passion, aspires to become one of the leading oil and gas companies in the West African and the Sub - Saharan region. The emergence of the company is as a direct response to the emerging trends in the dynamic Oil & Gas industry in Nigeria and the entire globe.

The founders of the company have brought to bear, their multi-disciplinary background and wealth of experience with a goal to set the pace in so many dimensions in the Oil & Gas sector by amalgamating their rich individual and collective background in both industry and service sectors of the economy.

Our goal

The company’s main goal is to enter into major products trading transactions with market leaders such as Mobil, Oando and TOTAL, and other Independent Oil Marketers such as NIPPCO, WABECO, Sahara Energy and Forte Oil etc. Zebina Oil & Gas intends to observe the standard operating procedures and quickly surpass all industry benchmarks within its 12 months of active operations.

We are a down-stream operational Oil & Gas Company whose main activity is the marketing, distribution and sales of imported petroleum products and a leading supplier of petroleum products to large scale users in Nigeria.

Since beginning operations, Zebina Oil & Gas Limited through her business allies, have successfully coordinated the sale of over 100,000 metric tonnes of refined assorted petroleum products.

ACTIVITIES

Procurement
At Zebina Oil & Gas Limited, we aim to procure a broad range of refined petroleum products throughout Africa, Europe, Asia and America. The products include Dual Purpose Kerosene (DPK), Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), and Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and ultimately, Aviation Fuel.

Trading
In line with our vision we are the leading indigenous physical trader of petroleum products in Nigeria. We trade large volume cargoes to major Oil marketers in the country as well as independent marketers.

The company's key objective in serving it clients is to ensure product availability particularly in periods of extreme oil price volatility in the international market.

Zebina Oil & Gas Limited is a recognized leader in Oil trading, actively making market in the financial and physical products, with contracts ranging from spot to term.

Industry Competencies

Zebina Oil & Gas Limited’s major areas of competence cover the following industry segments:

Downstream Segment: The Company is principally involved in the marketing, distribution, sales and storage of petroleum products in Nigeria with plans for expansion into the West African sub-region. The company by itself and through an efficient network of industry correspondents caters for the supply deficit prevalent in these markets and further provides innovative business solutions for value added services requirement associated thereto. The company primarily trades in petroleum products like A.G.O, P.M.S & DPK and intends to increase its product line to include other products such as Aviation Fuel and Lubricants in the near future.

Midstream Segment: In the near future, the Company will aim to engage in activities such as importation and storage of petroleum products in depots around Nigeria and that will expand its capacity to better serve the market. We intend to eventually build Petroleum Tank Farms and construct refineries in Nigeria to meet the rising marketplace demand, under a strategic alliance with other foreign companies with requisite technical expertise.

Upstream Segment: We have a long term strategy built on the acquisition of productive Oil and Gas assets in the production centers and regions of West Africa with which we intend to satisfy the feedstock requirements of the proposed investment refinery facilities and to generate revenue for our downstream investment initiatives.

Our agile nature and positioning in the market guarantees us the ability to react expeditiously to emerging opportunities presented by a very dynamic energy sector. Our business model is one that assures sustainability and growth and proposes to deliver value to our proposed clientele in all areas of our operation.

Other Areas of Interest:

Engineering; We would wish to provide specialized turnkey projects both offshore and onshore in the near future. Our strategic plan is to be involved in carrying out engineering and fabrication of offshore and onshore structures for Oil & Gas industry with complete commitment to health, safety and environment standards in every installation.
Such Engineering services will be provided in-house and sometimes in conjunction with other foreign or local reputable engineering companies as technical partners.

Our Construction services would include all fabrication works, pipe laying, installing of automated and manual pumps on facilities.

We would also aim to provide services in respect of Pipe coating, pipe double jointing as well as relevant tests for a high quality final product, stress analysis for upgrading of existing platform and facility design with ease in operation and safety.

We will ensure that maintenance and repair works are carried out after proper analysis and evaluation of existing structures. Engineering designs will be done and construction effected after approval of design.

Professor Sotonye Fiberesima Amakiri (MON)

Chairman

Professor Amakiri is a professor of veterinary medicine from the University of Ibadan. He held the position of Provost, Rivers State College of Education, Port Harcourt (a degree awarding college affiliated to the University of Ibadan) before he retired in 1998. He has researched widely and authored several books and Journal publications in the areas of veterinary medicine, agriculture and environmental management. He is a member of many scholarly and professional bodies. Professor Amakiri has equally held high level federal and state government appointments. At the federal level, he was Board Member, National Library Board; National Coordinator, FGN/UNDP/FAO project on Economically Important Livestock Diseases under the Federal Ministry of Science & Technology; Member, Governing Board of the National Research Institute for Chemical Technology, Zaria; and Member Joint Admission and Matriculation Board. At the state level, he was a Board Member, Rivers state Library Board; Council Member, Advisory Council on Agriculture to Rivers State; Member Integrated Coastal Zone Management Committee, a World Bank/Federal Environmental Protection Agency/Rivers State Project; and Chairman, NDDC Committee on Setting up of Science Schools in Rivers State.Prof. Amakiri, a Knight of St. Christopher (KSC), is a Member of the Order of the Niger (MON).

Emmanuel Ugboh

Executive Vice Chairman

Mr. Emmanuel Ugboh is an Economist and Chartered Accountant. He has over 33 years working experience having worked with Arthur Andersen & Co, UAC of Nigeria Plc, KPMG, Rims Merchant Bank Limited, Summa Guaranty& Trust Company Plc, IMB Securities Plc, and Deap Capital Management & Trust Plc. He has held Chief Executive position in the last three companies mentioned above for about  22 years.

Monday Ineh

Chief Executive Officer

Monday Ineh has an MBA and BSC in Marketing and Business Administrations respectively. He has valuable experience in banking and finance having worked with Unity Bank Plc, Intercontinental Bank, Gateway Bank, Prudent Bank and IMB International Bank as Branch Manager at various times, for 10 years out of his 16 years experience in the banking industry. Before resigning from Unity Bank, he rose up to the position of Acting Regional Manager, Lagos Island. He also worked with the then Meridien Equity Bank and Oceanic Bank International as Systems Administrator at various times, following his requisite training and procession of Diploma in Data Processing at distinction level from the prestigious University of Lagos.
He is the pioneer Chief Executive Officer of Jewels Energy & Logistics Investment Ltd, a position that has exposed him to Depot trading on Petroleum products.

Mrs. Clara Rotzler-Imevbore

Director

Mrs. Clara Rotzler is a versatile entrepreneur with wide-ranging experience in the food processing, steel and haulage sectors. She attended Pitman’s College in England where she completed her secretarial studies in 1958.She is a Director of many companies and was one of the founders of Triana Limited, a major haulage /shipping company and served as its pioneer Chairman in the 70’s. She is at present the Chairman of WEG Development Ltd and Velsa Limited.

Odemero Uwanogho

Director

Odemero has a BSC in Sociology from the University of Ilorin. He has 6 years working experience in banking having worked for Oceanic Bank, ACCESS bank and Ecobank in marketing and funds transfer departments. For the past 5 years since 2009 he has been involved in e-financial services business having been appointed as the pioneer Managing Director of Easy Express Capital Group and recently, Pay Express Card Services Limited. He is the founding CEO, Bounty Energy Ltd. Founding Partner, Easy Express Capital Ltd. Founding CEO, Bounty Cosmetics- Manufacturing and Marketing of Cosmetics, & Director of Harbins Foods Ltd.

Ernest OffoR

Director


Ernest Offor is a legal practitioner who has 6 years post call experience having graduated from the Nigerian Law School in 2008. He has a working knowledge of 2 foreign languages - French and Portuguese and has a Masters in Law from the University of Lagos. He has worked with Intrepid Offshore Construction, an American Oil Marine firm that partnered with Century Energy Oil Services Limited in Nigeria for the installation of FPSO's. He is currently a Legal Officer at African Real Estate Investment and Asset Management Company (ARIA), based in Victoria Island, Lagos.

He has experience in marketing which he obtained from working as the Head of the Asset Management Unit of Deap Capital Management & Trust Plc where he has worked for over 12 years. Prior to that, he had worked for IMB Securities Plc as a Marketing Executive for Stock-broking products.

Stanley Akogo

Head, Finance


Stanley Akogo has BSC in Banking and Finance and is currently a registered student of ICAN with the final in view. He has a cumulative working experience of over 8 years having worked with Resort Saving & Loans Plc, Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc, and Berachah Constructions Limited in Accounts departments.

Josephine Ideji

Head, Admin.


She has a BSC in Business Administration from the University of Lagos. She has over 22 years experience post qualification as a Secretary. She is a qualified Secretary and has acted as the Personal Assistant to three Chief Executives of three of the companies that she had worked with for over a period of 18 years. She had also worked as a Manager, managing the day to day affairs of a law bookshop for three years.
